JIEEC 2024: XVIII International Smart Grids Conference

The XVIII International Electricity Grids Conference organised by  Tecnalia, EVE and Orkestra will be held at the BEC on 9-10 October.
 
As in previous editions, this conference is designed with the aim of promoting a meeting forum in which experts and researchers from different countries and fields can exchange ideas and discuss the state of the art and progress in the electrical sector. On this occasion, Merytronic, together with Pronutec, form part of the group of companies in the electrical sector sponsoring this congress.
 
The conference will be divided into 4 sessions with different round tables, made up of top-level speakers from the sector.

• Session 1. International perspective on power grids: strategic vision, geopolitics, supply security, supply chain, critical materials.
• Session 2. Innovation in the digitalization of the electricity grid
• Session 3. Strategy, opportunities and challenges for distribution network operators in spain
• Session 4. Technological solutions for the electrification of the economy: demand flexibility, energy communities, self-consumption, electric mobility

In addition, the event will dedicate a special space for representatives of national electricity distribution companies to share the opportunities and challenges facing the electricity sector.
