Merytronic in New Zeland – EEA Conference 2026
Merytronic strengthens its technical presence in New Zealand at EEA 2026
Merytronic will participate in the EEA 2026 Conference, taking place from 22 to 24 September at the NZICC in Auckland, strengthening its presence in a market where our low-voltage monitoring technology is already supporting electricity distribution networks.
At stands 128 & 129, we will join Reticulation Developments NZ, our local partner for Merytronic’s fixed monitoring solutions, to present the latest developments in low-voltage monitoring, digitalisation and automation.
Advancing low-voltage monitoring and automation
Visitors will be able to discover the latest developments in Merytronic’s fixed monitoring solutions, together with Zillion, our new ecosystem of solutions for smart grids, designed for monitoring, control and automation.
Special attention will be given to retrofit monitoring solutions, designed to bring greater visibility to existing low-voltage installations, and to an automated low-voltage panel integrating monitoring, communications and automation capabilities.
These solutions respond to the growing need for utilities to gain more detailed knowledge at feeder and phase level while progressively introducing greater intelligence into existing networks.
Sharing technical expertise at EEA 2026
Merytronic will also contribute to the technical programme of the conference. Our colleague Xabier Aldekoa will present two technical posters addressing key challenges in the evolution of low-voltage distribution networks:
- “From LV Visibility to Active Control: A Practical Path for DSO Transformation”, focused on the progression from network monitoring to operational intelligence and targeted control.
- “Secure by Design: Cyber-Resilient LV Automation for Future Distribution Networks”, addressing cybersecurity and operational resilience in increasingly digitalised and automated LV networks.
Both contributions reflect Merytronic’s commitment to the evolving challenges of low-voltage networks, where visibility, analytics and automation are key to more flexible and resilient grids. Beyond monitoring, we aim to be a technology partner for DSOs, supporting the evolution of their networks through data, field expertise and automation.
Expanding Merytronic’s opportunities in New Zealand
New Zealand is already an important market for Merytronic’s fixed monitoring solutions, and EEA 2026 provides an opportunity to continue strengthening that presence while exploring the potential of our portable solutions for field operations and network digitalisation.
Technologies such as ILF G2, LV-DNA and MRT-700 support applications including topology identification, temporary monitoring, cable tracing and network mapping, complementing permanent monitoring infrastructure with greater flexibility in the field.
Meet Merytronic at EEA 2026
EEA 2026 will be an opportunity to share our experience with the New Zealand electricity sector, present the latest evolution of our technologies and continue supporting the digitalisation of low-voltage distribution networks.
