Zillion TSA
Line feeder metter

The TSA Advanced Monitoring Card is a three-phase meter integrated into the line supervisors of the Zillion ecosystem. It measures line voltage and current, calculates the remaining electrical parameters, generates alarms, detects events, and transmits this information to the Low-Voltage Remote Unit via serial communication.

The TSA enables advanced low-voltage electrical monitoring by ensuring consistent and accurate acquisition of electrical data. Integrated directly into the line supervisors, it provides real-time electrical information without adding complexity to the system architecture. This data can then be used consistently for network operation, maintenance and secondary substation diagnostics.

Main Functions of the TSA Advanced Monitoring Card

  • Digitises voltage and current signals.

  • Calculates three-phase electrical parameters.

  • Generates phase-specific electrical alarms under abnormal operating conditions.

  • Transmits data to the Low-Voltage Remote Unit via RS485 communication.

  • The TSA enables advanced electrical monitoring directly within the line supervisors.

Value proposition of the Advanced Electrical Monitoring

Integrated advanced measurement. Converts analogue electrical signals into processable digital data, ensuring measurement quality and consistency across the entire Zillion ecosystem. This provides reliable information directly at the monitoring point.

Real-time monitoring. Enables advanced electrical monitoring within the line supervisor, without the need for additional external equipment. This makes electrical information immediately available.

Deployment flexibility. Allows measurement capabilities to be updated, replaced or expanded according to project requirements. It also supports system evolution over time.

Primary use case in the secondary substation

The TSA acts as the core of electrical measurement within the modular low-voltage monitoring system in the secondary substation. Integrated into the line supervisors, it acquires, processes and transmits electrical data to the Low-Voltage Remote Unit. This contributes to an integrated and consistent view of the network, supporting operational decision-making based on reliable and comparable data.

Integration into the Zillion ecosystem

The TSA Advanced Monitoring Card is integrated into the following devices within the Zillion ecosystem:

SFS –  Smart fuse switch

SAL – Line advanced supervisor

LRS – Feeder retrofit supervisor

LRG – Feeder retrofit Rogowski

Main features

  • Three-phase measurement of phase voltage and current, including neutral current.
